GENESEO, N.Y. - Four SUNY Geneseo student-athletes earned weekly State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) honors as women's swimming & diving senior Nancy Nasky and junior Samantha Reichman, men's swimming & diving first-year Corey Wirth and men's ice hockey junior Conlan Keenan were each recognized by the conference.
Nasky finished first in each event she raced as the Knights improved to 5-0 in dual meets with a 199-94 victory over Nazareth on Saturday. Nasky finished first in the 1000 free with a time of 10:41.39, first in the 500 free with a time of 5:08.67 and the 200 free, touching up in 2:00.02.
Reichman finished first in both diving events as the Knights earned a 199-94 victory over Nazareth on Saturday. In the one-meter, she scored a 283.70 on six dives and then scored 278.05 off the three-meter board.
Wirth finished as Geneseo's top diver in the team's dual match against Nazareth on Saturday. The first-year placed first off the one-meter board with a six-dive score of 266.80 and placed second in the three-meter with a score of 266.15. Wirth and the Knights improved to 4-1 in dual meets with a 166-126 victory over the Golden Flyers.
Keenan scored a team-high nine points over two victories against Morrisville last week. He was credited with a career-high six points on his third-career hat-trick along with three assists in Friday's 9-0 win before adding a goal and two assists to Saturday's 7-1 decision. He currently leads the nation with 19 points and is tied for second with 12 assists.
