GENESEO, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore Celeste Pace set a pool record in the 100 fly and teamed with first-year Megan Palmer and sophomores Lauren Siegel and Deidra Osula to set another pool record in the 400 medley relay as the Knights earned a dual meet victory over State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) rival Cortland, 234-60, on Saturday at Alumni Pool.
Pace finished the 100 fly in 58.68, setting an Alumni Pool record as she and the 400 medley relay team finished in a pool record time of 4:00.35. Pace also finished first in the 200 fly (2:15.77) and the 100 Free (54.85). Senior Sydney Ng placed first in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.84 and the 200 back, touching up in 2:08.70.
The Knights finished first in every event for the second-consecutive week as they improved to 4-0 in dual meets on the season.
Geneseo will return to action on Saturday, November 17 when they host Nazareth.
