Men's Track & Field Opens Season At Nazareth Alumni Meet

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - SUNY Geneseo sophomore Josh Feldberg finished first in the triple jump and second in the long jump to lead the Knights at the Nazareth Alumni Meet as the team opened its season Friday night. 

Feldberg finished first in the triple jump, leaping 13.91m and notched a 6.61m long jump to place second. Senior Zachary Curran placed second in the pole vault with a mark of 4.90m, setting a program record while junior Michael Hartcorn placed second in the 60m hurdles with a 8.52 finish. First-year Ryan Mitchell placed second in the 3000 with a time of 9:14.54 and senior Sam Napoli ran to second place in the 600 with a time of 1:22.75, setting a program record in the event. First-year Greg Cole-Allen notched a third-place finish in the shot put, tossing it 13.67m in his collegiate debut. 

The Knights return to action on January 18 when they compete in the RIT Invitational.
