Greene and Reid were both named second team All-America, becoming the fourth and fifth All-Americans in Geneseo women's soccer history, and the first Geneseo teammates to accomplish the feat in the same year.
Greene finished the season with seven goals, including the overtime game-winner in the NCAA First Round victory over Penn St.-Berks. Greene started in all 22 games for the Knights, and ends her career tied for ninth in Geneseo history with 27 goals and tied for 11th with 66 points. Last week, she became the first Geneseo women's soccer player to be named a three-time All-Region First Team selection.
Reid also started all 22 games for the Knights and set program records with 19 goals and 46 points this season. The forward scored multiple goals in six games, including a hat trick in a 3-2 overtime victory over Oneonta (Sept. 29). Reid's led the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) in goals and points, and netted a conference-best five game-winning goals. She finishes her career ranked 14th in Geneseo history with 61 points.
The Knights tied the program record for wins, finishing the year with an 18-2-2 mark. The team hosted the first and second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time, and advanced to the round of 16 for the second time in program history with overtime victories over Penn St.-Berks, 2-1, and Misericordia, 1-0, before falling to Johns Hopkins, 2-0, to end the season.
Greene will graduate in the spring with a degree in biology, while Reid will graduate with a degree in Spanish education.
