CLEVELAND, Ohio - SUNY Geneseo junior Sydney Ng earned first place finishes in the 200 free and the 200 back as the No. 21 Knights earned a victory over 18th-ranked Case Western Reserve, 184.5-114.5, on Saturday afternoon in Cleveland.
Ng finished with a time of 2:06.50 in the 200 back and clocked in at 1:56.94 in the 200 free to earn first-place finishes in both events. Junior Nancy Nasky earned a win in the 1000 free (10:43.20) and teamed with first-year Rachel Wallisky and junior Megan Mack to sweep the 500 free as well. Sophomore Samantha Reichman grabbed the top rank in both the three-meter dive (281.025) and the one-meter dive (251.25) as Geneseo earned first-place finishes in 10 out of the 16 events.
The Knights improve to 6-1 in dual meets this year and will return to action with another dual meet at U of R, beginning on Friday, Jan. 26 at 6:00 p.m.
